David Tunno has been a jury consultant since 1989. Prior to founding Tunno & Associates Trial Consulting, he was a Director at Litigation Sciences, Inc. The vast majority of the cases in his history fall in the category of major civil litigation; including many high-profile, high-stakes cases.
Over a period of 16 years, David Tunno combined his experience as a jury consultant with research on jury cases across America in writing Fixing the Engine of Justice: Diagnosis and Repair of Our Jury System. The book provides a well-research review of of the American jury system, identifies problems and recommends reforms.

Mr. Tunno also wrote Taking the Stand, Tips for the Expert Witness, a training manual for expert witnesses. Read more about it on the trial consulting side of this website (see link above) and authored “Preparing Expert Witnesses” for the ABA’s Trial Practice Newsletter.
Mr. Tunno has been called upon to provide expert commentary by CBS, NBC, KABC TV, WABC TV, KCBS, FOX News Network and Court TV. Notable cases in his media commentary experience include Rodney King, Reginald Denny, Menendez, Tyco, O.J. Simpson and Michael Jackson cases. He has also lectured at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management. He holds B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of Portland.
Mr. Tunno now lives near Prescott, Arizona with his wife Donna. He enjoys flying and writing, both fiction and non-fiction.
